Health Promotion Clinics
Our Health Promotion Clinics provide free health assessments and advocacy to low-income seniors in the Denver Area. The clinics are held monthly in 18 subsidized senior high-rise buildings in the Metro area. The program employs two Registered Nurses and an Administrative Assistant. Additionally, to ensure success and coverage of the clinics, HealthSET utilizes the invaluable resources of volunteers. Each month, our staff and volunteer nurses and volunteer pharmacists give seniors wellness assessments; monitor health problems; provide counseling; educate residents about nutrition and other good health practices; and provide referrals to other area health care resources.

Between clinics the Health Promotion Clinic staff accompany clients to medical appointments, make home visits, assist clients with medication management, and assist clients with financial aid applications for medical needs. The Health Promotion Clinics not only help seniors to stay well, but also assist seniors to prevent diseases from escalating to the point where they will no longer be able to live independently.
